Haulleujah: Bath and Body Works.

For those who don’t know, Bath and Body Works is hosting their amazing semi-annual sale which means most of the store is 50% off. Yes, you read that right, 50% off.

Well, I happen to be a shopaholic, so once I received a coupon in the mail advertising the upcoming sale as well as offering me $10 off of $40, there was ABSOLUTELY no way I was missing the sale. Therefore the other day, I went into the store and made sure I received my $10 off of $40! As a matter of fact, I walked away with a bag full of home-goodies after spending $30.10…not bad right? And to prove my savings, I even attached a picture of my receipt below. Just wait until you see what I bought!

First, let’s start with the three deliciously scented soaps displayed in the background. Wild Passion Flower is possibly one of the best scented soaps I’ve smelled from Bath and Body Works in a while…and keep in mind, I’ve smelled them all because once upon a time I worked at a local store. Regularly priced, these soaps are $6.50, but due to the amazing sale, I bought all three at $3.25 a piece! I could’ve filled my shopping bag to the top with all the soap in the store at this price but that whole “too much of a good thing” quote ran across my mind like the words across a jumbtron at a ball game. Therefore, I stopped at 3.

Next in line, the oh so addicting wall flower bulbs. I wanted several because… well, just because. So, I bought two French Lavender (I live for all things lavender) and two Sundress. I don’t know how else to explain the smell of these two scents besides the word “summer.” If you don’t know anything else about Bath and Body Works know that they are top notch in the game of associating scents and seasons. Regularly priced at $6.50, I was able to purchase these bulbs at $3.25 a piece. And for future reference, if your wall flower plug-in all of a sudden stops working, DO NOT DISCARD!! While working at the store some months back, I learned that customers are able to bring in their broken plug-ins and conduct an even exchange for a new wall flower. Now, I’m not 100% sure if this policy is still in place but I plan on finding out very soon because two of my plug-ins have gone to wall flower heaven 😦

Let’s skip the obvious and go for the next item in line which is the bronze lip shimmer! I’ve always loved Bath and Body Works lip glosses, aside from the slightly sticky texture but we can’t have it all, right? Anyway, this “Jeweled Coconut Dazzle*licious High Sparkle Lip Gloss” is going to pair nicely with my signature nude lip I tend to wear when I’m feeling classically snazzy! Regular priced at $10.50, this gorgeous shimmery bronze was only $5.25…the poor girls Mac. (also if anyone knows when and where I can buy Mac’s red Maleficent lip stick, PLEASE contact me asap. That shade of red is a must in my life!)

And lastly, my favorite, Bath and Body Works’ 3 wick candles. Now for my BBW gurus you know these tiny pieces of heaven can be quite pricey, normally $22.50, which is why I only buy them when they go on sale. The usual 3 wick sale is $11 but not during the semi-annual sale! I was able to buy this French Lavender 3 Wick Candle for only $10. Yes, it’s only a dollar difference from their regular sale, but hey, dollars in savings tend to add up. I absolutely love Bath and Body Works’ 3 wick candles because they last FOREVER and give off the perfect amount of perfume at any given time; not too weak and never too strong… it’s as close to perfection as it gets. And, like previously stated, I live for all things lavender therefore I had to pick up their French Lavender candle and definitely plan on going back for more before the sale is over.

And as promised, here is a picture of my receipt. I truly only spent $30.10 on nine items, after my $10 off $40 coupon. Have you ever heard of such a thing? This is a dream come true for a shopaholic on a budget like myself 🙂
